Isabel: A Miracle of God
We know that many of you has been praying for Isabel. We want you to meet her. She's a miracle of God. She came to know the Lord when she was in her breast's cancer treatment; her life was, and still is in danger. While the cancer has dissapeared, the aboundant medication has affected her heart in such a way that now only part of it is functioning.Isabel has three children that she and her husband have rised since they were babies, although they are not from them (Picture 1) They came from a National Institute for Children. The three kids are very faithful coming to Sunday School. Also, Isabel is doing discipleship faithfuly (Won by One) with one of the ladies of the church.
Isabel has to be with oxigen all the time in order to stay in good shape. (Pictures 2 and 3) She's always with that oxigen bag everywhere, including the church. These last Sundays she wasn't able to come.
But what we desire the most is to see her husband, Carlos, make a clear decision for Christ.(Picture 4) He comes along with her to every Sunday service, but we never heard him confess Christ yet. He's always paying attention to the Word, so we pray that the Holy Spirit would show in him the fruit of Christ in short time. Please, be praying for the Silva family: Carlos, Isabel, Cristian, Nancy y Adriana.

Meet Vanesa and the Youth service
Picture # 1 - Vanesa and Bettel We wrote to some of you about her, months ago. She's the daughter of the man that made part of the roof of our building. Vanesa (16) is hunchback and she cannot walk without a special tool made for that purpose, but she came to know the Lord Jesus as her personal Savior. Now she's coming to almost every service, and Bettel (19) (the other lady in the Picture) is doing a discipleship with her every week. Vanesa wants to be baptized and we are very happy for that. Please, pray for Vanesa who is reading the Bible to her mother and other friends. She's a very good testimony in our church. Although we have to carry her everywhere in the building, we do it with much joy.
Pictures #2,#3 and #4 are showing our youth meeting last Saturday (4/22). Usually they gather to sing a lot, to share some testimonies of what the Lord did during the week and then they listen to the preaching of the Word and after that, they play volleyball and drink mate (national drink - I promise you a picture). They really have a good time. You can pray that God would rise some of the young men to become leaders in the group. God is helping us in the develop of a new group of teenagers; they have different needs that we have to meet in a different way.

Praying for future place for building
As the Lord brings you to mind, be praying for the church, regarding the buying of the property besides the one we have now. Up to this moment, we do not have any idea of what the Lord wants for us, but we, as body, began to pray for the possibility of buying the house that you can see right side of our actual building. That would gather twice the people we have now. The Lord only knows, but we pray until He will direct our paths to another direction.
Sunday School Class Training
Through God's grace we are also training brethren for Sunday School Classes. We gather in two groups, twice a week. We are doing it through video classes and we are receiving much profit. We have almost 15 people taking classes.
You can add this activity to your list of prayer.
Thanks for upholding us!
